This gorgeous stained glass Duke head by artist and greyhound mom Sherry Cramer measures 11 3/4" in diameter. The chain is 36" long. This would make a Greyt Mother's Day gift for yourself or your favorite greyhound mom!

100% of the raffle money will go to GALT (Greyhound Adoption League of Texas) to pay expenses of adopting out the Harlingen, TX track greyhounds. Valley Race Park in Harlingen operates from December - April. 78 greyhounds have been adopted thru GALT and 50-75 more will be moved when the track closes for the season.
This season the dogs were transported 9 hours away to Dallas where they are boarded at $6 per day, which includes food and kennel cleanings. They have had a minimum of 8-10 greys daily since 12-15-04, with as many as 28 boarded at one time. All that amounts to at least $1440+ a month. Transportation costs have been expensive as well as medical - four broken legs that average about $1800 each.
