GREYHOUND ADOPTION LEAGUE OF TEXAS HOSTS
3RD ANNUAL BIKER BASH AND RAFFLE

Dallas, TX -- The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, Inc. (GALT) with the support of Razzoo's Cajun Café and Skoot's Hamburgers, presents the 3rd annual Biker Bash and Raffle on September 16. Sports enthusiasts, motorcycle fans. and animal lovers alike are invited to ride their motorcycles for a day of fun, raffles and great food, all the while raising needed funds for GALT.

"We are excited to partner with Razzoo's Cajun Café and Skoot's Hamburgers for the Biker Bash and Raffle," says GALT President and event chairman David Cole. "Each year the event gains momentum and we are hoping 2006 will be a record year for biker turn-out."

All proceeds benefit GALT and its work placing retired racing greyhounds into "forever homes." To date, GALT has placed more than 900 greyhounds in homes across the United States.

Registration begins at 11:30 AM at Razzoo's Cajun Café located at 13949 N. Central Expressway. Entry fee is $25 per bike, which includes 5 raffle tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased for $5 each and the first 50 bikes to register will receive a free Greyhound Adoption League of Texas T-shirt. Last entrant out is 1:00 After brief stops at participating Razzoo's Cajun Cafes in Plano, Lewisville, Bedford and Irving, the ride ends at Skoot's Hamburgers, 13935 N. Central Expressway, with the last entrant in at 4:00. Raffle drawings will begin at 4:30. Guests are invited to attend the Biker Bash after-party at Skoots for fabulous food, drinks and raffle prizes with a live band.

The Greyhound Adoption League is the official charity of the Dallas Stars Hockey Team. GALT is a 501(c)3 non-profit all-volunteer group dedicated to placing all greyhounds, primarily those that competed and trained for racing, into loving homes. GALT facilitates the adoption of greyhounds by providing kennel services and foster homes along with their medical needs, including spay and neuter, assisting them in the transition from track-life to home-life; and educating the public about why the greyhound has been a favored companion dog for more than 4,000 years.

(GALT) will host the 5th Annual Greyt Athletes Dinner and Auction on March 25, giving DFW sports enthusiasts the opportunity to mix and mingle with a star studded line-up of the area's top active and retired professional athletes.

DALLAS (October 22, 2003) - The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, Inc. (GALT) will host the 2003 Biker Bash and Poker Run on November 16th, giving hockey and motorcycle enthusiasts around the Dallas/Fort Worth area the opportunity to cruise alongside the legendary Stanley Cup and former Dallas Stars Craig Ludwig and Guy Carbonneau.

WHAT: 2003 Biker Bash and Poker Run.

WHERE: Kick-off and registration at Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco, home of the Dallas Stars and the Texas Tornado Hockey Club. All-day Poker Run includes stops at the Blue Goose and Down Under Pub in Frisco; Sneaky Pete's in Lewisville; Lone Star Country Club in Coppell; the Dugout and Duke's Original Road House in Addison; and Strokers Ice House in Dallas.

WHEN: November 16th
Registration is $20 per bike and begins at 11:00 a.m. Last bike in at 5 p.m. at Strokers.

WHO: All proceeds will benefit GALT and the Dallas Stars Foundation.
Dallas Stars Alumni Director Craig Ludwig is GALT's Honorary Chairman.

"This event is a great opportunity for the public to learn more about a very unique charitable organization that does great work throughout the entire state, as well as the Metroplex," says Ludwig. "Not only does the day promise fun and revelry for anyone with an interest in motorcycling, hockey, or greyhounds, but it gives people the opportunity to support a fantastic cause - the adoption of loving greyhound pets. Plus, it's a chance to stand side-by-side with the coveted Stanley Cup, and that's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that no hockey fan can pass up."

Poker Run prizes of $500, $250, and $100 will be awarded. A silent auction with sports memorabilia, gift certificates and other prized items are also planned as part of the event. In addition, participants will have the unique opportunity to pose for photos with the Stanley Cup.

The 2003 Biker Bash and Poker Run is open to the community, and all are invited to join in the festivities. The entry fee is $20 per bike, and free t-shirts go to the first 50 entries. Stanley Cup photos will be offered at an additional cost of $10. All proceeds from the event will benefit GALT and the Dallas Stars Foundation. DALLAS (March 13, 2003) – The 2003 Greyt Champions Hockey and Hounds Benefit Dinner & Auction provides hockey enthusiasts around the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area the opportunity to spend the evening with former Dallas Stars Craig Ludwig, Neal Broten, Gerald Diduck and Alan May. Local hockey fans can dine with their favorite Stars at the Palomino Restaurant (500 Crescent Court) on March 24, 2003 at 7 p.m. Radio Personality Bob Sturm of Sports Radio 1310, The Ticket, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

"It is a greyt opportunity for hockey fans to meet some of their favorite Stars," said Ludwig. "At the same time, it's a chance for everyone to contribute to this worthwhile cause of finding retired greyhounds greyt homes."

The dinner and auction are presented by Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT), and benefits from the dinner support and care for GALT's Greyhounds. Tickets cost $100 each and are limited to the first 125 people. GREYHOUNDS WILL PLAY AT THE CAMPER SCAMPER, BENEFITTING CAMP JOHN MARC

(DALLAS, Friday, March 15, 2002) - The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas is participating in the Camp John Marc "Camper Scamper" on April 13 at Reverchon Park. Beginning at 8am, this morning of fun and games, including a 5K run and one-mile fun walk/run, raises awareness and money for Camp John Marc, a non-profit organization that aims to improve the quality of life for chronically ill children.

The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT) is a volunteer organization that seeks to place retired and homeless greyhounds in loving homes, while educating the public about the unique breed. Many GALT volunteers, greyhounds, and supporters will be in attendance for this important community event.

"This is a great opportunity for the general public to enjoy the spring weather while getting to know two unique volunteer organizations," said GALT Chairman John McQuade. "We like to take any opportunity we can to spread the word about what wonderful companion pets the greyhounds are, and we are pleased to help Camp John Marc."

Camp John Marc exists to improve the quality of life of Texas-area children with chronic illnesses or major physical disabilities. The eight-acre camp, located in Bosque County, depends heavily on donations to support children in need.
