Johnson, an avid greyhound lover, who lives in Washington State. Owen
brings together numerous sources of information for the person considering
adoption of a retired racing greyhound and also answers questions you
may have if you already own one or more of these wonderful dogs. The areas
on Medical & Diet and Training & Behavior are particularly significant
and important.

Greyhound-Data is an online database of greyhounds from around the world.
The aim of Greyhound-Data is to give a clear overview of greyhound breeding
and racing worldwide. They have greyhounds from four continents and from
four centuries. Anybody can add greyhounds and races to the database.

Racing History
Once you have obtained your greyhound's racing name*, you can locate their
racing record, information on siblings, dam and sire under "greyhound
data" on this site.
* Call (785-263-4660) or email the National Greyhound Association at nga@jc.net
and give them your greyhound's left and right ear tattoos. They will give
you the breeder's name, address and phone number, and will send you the
blue transfer slip of ownership, if you request it. The blue transfer
slip can be mailed to the breeder with a request to sign and return to
you; you can then transfer ownership for a fee of $20 with the NGA.
