Jude, aka Slatex Jude, is a 2 1/2 year old brindle female born October 17, 2017. Her sire is Flying Coal City, and her dam is Slatex Magnesium. Jude has 14 races to her credit at Southland in West Memphis, Arkansas, and Gulf Greyhound Park in La Marque, Texas. Unfortunately on her 15th race she was injured, causing a break below her left knee. Jude was rushed to GALT where she had surgery by Dr. Robert Radasch at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center on February 10th. Because of the uniqueness of her injury, Jude wore a special sling for approximately 8 weeks. She has had x-rays which show the leg is now healed. It is not known at this time if Jude is small animal or cat tolerant.
