Goldie Goldie

Goldie, aka About Adequate, is a beautiful, white 2½-year-old female, born March 15, 2005. Her sire is Larking About and her dam is Winks Willow, and Bonkers is her brother. Goldie's racing career started September 6, 2006, in Dubuque, Iowa, and ended March 28, 2007, at Valley Race Park in Harlingen with a broken hock. Goldie was transported to Austin with Barry where she had surgery performed by Stephanie Beardsley of Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital on April 4. Goldie is all healed up now, and her life as a companion pet should not be impacted at all by her injury.  It is not known at this time if Goldie is small animal or cat tolerant.

Miss Goldie is quite a special girl who deserves a loving family of her own. She has such a cute personality, and lots of it in fact. She has these cute ears that are sort of "loppydoodled" which add to her charm.

She has been a fine house guest, loves walks, and does beautifully on a leash. She also handles stairs like a champ. Outside she is quite the squirrel chaser and none of them are safe when she is outside.

Goldie is not cat tolerant but she does get along well with small dogs.

Inside, her absolute favorite things are her squeaky toys, and she does give them a work out. They are just such fun for her.

You must meet our Goldie, she will win your heart and make a great addition to any home.
