GALTX

Diablo is a 12-week-old white and black female born approximately June 8, 2011. She was seized from a Fort Worth home along with her mother Faith and 7 other puppies on July 6, 2011. The eight puppies varied in weight from 3.5 to 4.9 pounds and now weigh between 13 and 16 pounds! Rachel was covered in ticks and fleas, which were thankfully mostly dead by the time GALT received her from FWACC. She has been treated for intestinal parasites and respiratory infection, and is not showing any signs of long-term ill-effects from her intial neglect. Diablo can't wait to find a family all of her own!

Diablo was named by Isa Stoff: Diablo is named in honor of the very first dog I rescued back in 1993, she was an Afghan Hound - Bouvier des Flandres mix. She had a really bad case of separation anxiety the first few years, she had bad hips & mild elbow displasia, was a real clown and she was my heart dog! I lost her back in 2002 and still miss her. Because of her I started rescuing Galgos from Spain and since 2008 Greyhounds from Ireland. This is her picture:
