Sweet Pea's Story
Sweet Pea

Update: 11/7/10

Sweet Pea is an approximately 4 to 6-year-old fawn female. Sweet Pea was one of 11 dogs taken into custody by Ft. Worth Animal Control Cruelty Investigators on August 11, 2010, from a residence in Ft. Worth. She was covered with ticks and is carrying a heavy burden of intestinal parasites. She has positive titers to Ehrlichia, Babesia and Lyme. Treatment for these, as well as the intestinal parasites, has begun. Her physical condition indicates she has had pups in the past six months.

The special medical treatment cost needed by Sweet Pea is why the Miss Mesa Fund was established. If you would like to help with Sweet Pea's care, please take a moment to make a donation to the fund.
