Julie and Matt Kerper, adopters of Zac and Triscuit, have made a commitment to GALT’s greyhounds to establish a matching fund in memory of their beloved first greyhound, Shadrock, aka Figs Shadrack, who traveled to the Rainbow Bridge much too early. For every dollar donated to the Shadrock & Friends Fund, Julie and Matt will match the donation—up to a total of $5,000. The proceeds from this fund will be designated for medical costs of GALT’s Injured Reserve Greyhounds. By reaching the total goal of $10,000—$5,000 from the Kerpers and $5,000 from Shadrock & Friends Fund—GALT will be able to cover numerous costs associated with traumatic injuries and advanced medical conditions of those greyhounds in need.
