North Texas Irish Festival
March 1 and 2, 2008
It just wouldn't be the annual Irish Festival at Fair Park in Dallas without GALT and its Greyhounds, and they didn't disappoint. Green, of course, was the color of the weekend - green hats, green racing silks (with donation pockets), green collars, and green donations. The Greyhounds enjoyed all of the usual petting and hugs and treats, but some just couldn't stay on their feet. They can nap anywhere. GALT's festive booth drew attention to all the Greyhounds, both adoptable ones and ones who just came to visit. GALT's shamrocks were also a hit and all were sold. Thanks to all the GALT volunteers for helping out again this year. See you next March!
