Arlington Home and Garden Show
January 5 and 6, 2008
For the third year, GALT participated in the Arlington Home and Garden Show. This year lots of people turned out to learn more about home improvements and gardening. The weather was spring-like (hi 70's), unlike last year when GALT canceled part of its weekend participation because of ice. As usual GALT's Greyhounds were a hit - people just didn't expect to see dogs at a home and garden show. The dogs (with their fosters in tow of course) strolled the showroom and visited with patrons as well as letting the crowd pet them at the GALT booth. Hopefully more Greyhounds will find forever homes as a result of events such as this.
