GALT had the honor of being the only animal adoption group to participate in the inaugural Denton County Fall Festival at Sneaky Pete's on Lake Lewisville on Sunday, September 26, 2004. Everyone who came and went saw GALT's greyhounds - GALT was positioned at the entrance/exit to the event.
Food, drinks, music, and craft vendors livened up the fall afternoon (even though it felt like summer).Greyhounds Billy, Lad, Bailey, Slim and Robin made an appearance with their GALT volunteers/fosters, John Rocha, Randy Whipple, Suzanne Griggs, Melody McLaughlin and Bryan Crumpton.
For the Greyhounds it was a lazy afternoon of just being petted and admired. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
