Walt
ADOPTED TO HIS FOREVER HOME!
Walt, aka GLB’s WalkyTalky, is a three-year-old handsome red brindle male born March 28, 2001. Walt’s sire is Gable Dodge and his dam is GLB’s Too Sweet. Walt’s racing career was all spent here in Texas where he started at October 2, 2002, at Gulf Greyhound Park, then to Valley Race Track in Harlingen, and finished at the Corpus Christi track on July 9, 2003. His whereabouts since that time are unknown. Although Walt gets along well with other dogs, it has not been determined if he is small animal or cat tolerant at this time.
From Walt’s foster dad:
Walt is doing superbly in his foster home! Observations of Walt show that he is VERY dog friendly and extremely playful. He has been having a blast with Winter and Scully, my two whippet siblings. He gets a burst of energy after going "poop" and takes off with a sprint; the girls chase after him barking and he just loves it. He'll spin around real fast and just drop to the ground as they run around him. Then he'll jump up really quick and try to pounce. No agression whatsoever with Walt. Another observation I've made is that Walt is NOT food agressive at all. He loves to play! When we're outside, he'll try to grab my hand gently with his mouth so that I'll keep playing. He is such a happy boy!
