ADOPTED TO HER FOREVER HOME!
Ember, aka Geaux Foxy Ember, is a beautiful black 2-year-old female born April 19, 2001. Dutch Bahama is Ember's grand sire. She is an extremely shy girl who is in need of a very special home with lots of time and patience to help her adjust to her new life. Another greyhound would be a comfort for her as the company is something she does enjoy, and she seems to find comfort with other animals. She is afraid of men and will do better in a home with women.
Ember has come a long way since arriving here on Jan 24th. She and Black Knight were retired together as they both refused to run. Both came off the track at a very young age and were extremely frightened of everything. Ember will need a prolonged time for adjustment to her forever home, and someone who is willing to spend a lot of quality time helping this little girl. Her foster mom says that with time and patience, she will be a definite keeper! This one will pull at your heart strings. Ember has taken a liking to a little Shih Tzu in her foster home, who can be found most days keeping a watchful eye over her new friend.
