Running at the Rainbow Bridge

Traveler, aka Mongo Traveler, is a 2-year-old red male, born May 1, 2005. His sire is Flying Penske and his dam is Okie Karrie Okee. There are no races on Greyhound-data.com to his credit, although Traveler arrived with the last group of greyhounds from Valley Race Park on April 8, 2007. Traveler arrived very thin, as you can see, which in itself is alarming. It is suspected that he ingested a foreign object, and as a result, is undergoing surgery on Thursday, May 3. He is very lethargic and obviously feels very bad. It is not known at this time if Traveler is small animal or cat tolerant.

5/3/07
Traveler crossed to the Rainbow Bridge about 1:45 today, after going into cardiac arrest during the surgery for intestinal blockage. He, like so many before him, did not even have a chance at finding his forever home.
