MESA FUND Peanut Update: 5/20/05
Peanut is a sweet 3½-year-old small brindle female, born February 2001. Peanut came to GALT as a stray from the Fort Worth Animal Control. Like many of the GALT's strays, her right ear is double tattooed, so her life up to now remains a mystery. Also, like many of the strays, Peanut is positive to Ehrlichia, a tick-borne disease. She is currently being treated for this, and her foster mom is monitoring her closely. It is not known at this time if Peanut is small animal or cat tolerant. The special medical treatment cost needed by Peanut is why the Miss Mesa Fund was established. If you would like to help with Peanut's care, please take a moment to make a donation to the fund. You can use a credit card, check or PayPal by making the donation through the GALT GreytStore. You can also write a check (Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, P.O. Box 680, Addison, TX 75001) and note Miss Mesa Fund/Peanut on your check.
Alternately,
you can make a donation using PayPal by clicking on the You WILL and CAN make a difference in Peanut's life and the lives of other greyhounds in need of special medical care. Your help and support will make a difference...one greyhound at a time.
