Nokie, aka Anoka, is a handsome 10½-year-old red fawn male, born November 1, 1994. His sire is Pat C Not Yet and his dam is Josefina. Nokie came to GALT from Arlington Animal Services, where he was turned in by his owner of several years due to job loss and financial problems. Greyhound-data.org does not list any races for Nokie; however Rosnet shows one race in Corpus Christi on December 1, 1996. Nokie’s whereabouts are not known between that last race and his joining the previous owner in 2003. Don’t let his age discourage you – this boy is full of energy, and wants to be someone’s companion. He is living in a foster home with two other male greyhounds and fits right in. It is not known at this time if Nokie is small animal or cat tolerant.
