MESA FUND Maggie Mae Update: 5/8/08 Maggie Mae is a petite, almost 5-year-old, white-and-brindle female born June 2003, with striking brindle markings. Her tattoos are still being traced, so her true identity is not known at this time. Maggie Mae was turned into the Ft. Worth Animal Control by an owner who said they could not take care of her...and, obviously so, as she is heartworm positive. She is under the care of Dr. Jeff Ellis of VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital and her treatment started on April 1, 2008. Her condition will be monitored closely, and she will be kept very quiet during this first phase. It is not know at this time if Maggie Mae is small animal or cat tolerant. The special medical treatment cost needed by Maggie Mae is why the Miss Mesa Fund was established. If you would like to help with Maggie Mae's care, please take a moment to make a donation to the fund. You can use a credit card, check or PayPal by making the donation through the GALT GreytStore. You can also write a check (Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, P.O. Box 680, Addison, TX 75001) and note Miss Mesa Fund/Maggie Mae on your check. Alternately,
you can make a donation using PayPal by clicking on the You WILL and CAN make a difference in Maggie Mae's life and the lives of other greyhounds in need of special medical care. Your help and support will make a difference...one greyhound at a time.
