ADOPTED TO HER FOREVER HOME!
Kate, aka DLT Whistle Bye, is a beautiful 2-year-old brindle female, born April 8, 2003. Her sire is Craigie Whistler, making her grand sire Molotov, and her dam is Floridian, making her grand sire Black Streaker - who is also Hope's sire. Kate and Tom, aka DLT Whistle Time, are littermates. Kate has 12 races logged for her career, starting January 1, 2005 in Corpus Christi and finishing there April 3, 2005. One glance shows Kate to have that "Molotov look" with the white throat and chest. She is one gorgeous girl. It is not known at this time if Kate is small animal or cat tolerant.

Kate's incredibly happy personality makes it hard to put into words the joy she brings to our lives. One of her great loves, besides getting her belly rubbed, is playing outside. She has made a hobby out of throwing her own rope in the air and catching it, often times mixed in with quick laps around the back yard. It is truly a delight to watch her play when she doesn't know you are looking, usually reminding me of the simple pleasures in life. She loves rolling in the grass and often times will do it for 10 minutes straight or until rudely interrupted by my greyhound.
She seems to be very independent of other dogs but is quick to give them a kiss on the nose and wander off to her human companions. She is the perfect example of a canine flirt. She loves human affection. She's always laying within my sight, watching me with her big beautiful brown eyes with her tail slightly wagging. I have never seen a greyhound that wags their tail like Kate does, she is always happy, even after accidental dives into the pool. Although Kate will soon leave us to find her forever home, she will forever be in our hearts.
