RUNNING AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

March 9, 2007: Bernie had been diagnosed with neurological problems in late February. He suffered a massive seizure on March 9 and is now running at the rainbow bridge.

Bernie is an 11-year-old black male, born in June 1995. He was a stray from the Forney Road Shelter, and since he is double tattooed, his history will never be known. When Bernie arrived, he was very thin and was also heartworm positive. After receiving three separate heartworm treatments and 9 months later, Bernie is finally heartworm negative! Bernie is a sweet boy who enjoys the company of females but not males. Bernie is not small animal or cat tolerant.
