Although the bone biopsy performed on Ari did not come back as absolutely conclusive for Osteosarcoma, the x-rays taken showed it to be very evident. Dr. Ellis requested second opinions from Dr. Bob Radash and his staff of the Dallas Surgical Center, who confirmed our worst fears. Ari's struggle ended very peacefully Wednesday, January 11, 2006, with those who love him there by his side. We are all comforted knowing he is now running pain free at the Rainbow Bridge. God Speed, our dear Ari.
Ari, aka P's Airrite, is a handsome 4 1/2-year-old brindle male, born February 4, 2001. Ari's sire is Crystal Firelite and his dam is P's Stareyes. Ari was found as a stray in Frederick, Oklahoma. Greyhound-data.org shows 82 races for Ari, starting July 14, 2002 at Gulf Greyhound Park in La Marque, TX, and ending at Corpus Christi on December 31, 2003. His whereabouts since that time are not known.
